Let’s discover the importance of getting together with other believers.
Acts 2:42 “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ creed , to the
sharing, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
The primary teaching of the apostles: the death, burial and
resurrection of Jesus Christ
The “breaking of bread” has mainly to do with communion..
Prayer is an obvious part of being a child of God.
Fellowship is defined as “companionship; friendly association; a mutual sharing, as of experience, activity, interests, etc.; a group of people with the same interests.”
John 13:35 “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have
love one to another."
Hebrews 10:25 “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Why should we fellowship?
I. Because God says in His Word to do it. I Galatians 2:6-10
II. Because it is a source of encouragement
III. Because time is running out.
